Working Principle

The AUTOOL SC301 Coolant System Leak Tester and Filler is an all-in-one device that integrates coolant system leak detection and automatic coolant refilling. It operates primarily through vacuum extraction and pressure-holding functions to identify leaks and replace coolant in the vehicle’s cooling system. Featuring a high level of automation, the coolant vacuum filler is designed for easy one-person operation, saving both time and labor. It effectively helps users assess the condition of the cooling system and provides reliable maintenance solutions.

Leak Detection Mode: By creating a vacuum environment and using vacuum extraction and pressure-holding functions, the device determines whether there is a coolant leak. This allows users to quickly take appropriate repair measures to ensure the proper functioning of the cooling system.

Visual Test Results: The device features two LED indicator lights — a solid red light indicates a coolant leak, while a solid green light means no leakage. This visual leak display helps users detect issues promptly and significantly improves leak detection efficiency.

Three Pressure Levels: The vacuum pressure can be adjusted to three levels: -35 kPa (5.1 psi), -40 kPa (5.8 psi), and -45 kPa (6.5 psi). Users can choose the appropriate level according to vehicle type, age, or actual working conditions.

Simple and User-Friendly Operation: Equipped with intuitive audio and visual alerts and a straightforward control panel, the SC301 allows a single operator to easily complete both leak testing and coolant refilling.

Operating Instructions

Step 1: Connect the air compressor hose to the air inlet port. Step 2: Open the exhaust valve and place the air outlet hose into a container for used coolant recovery. Step 3: Place the liquid inlet hose into the container of new coolant. Step 4: Use the appropriate adapter to connect the filling hose to the vehicle’s coolant reservoir. Step 5: Connect to a 12V battery. Step 6: Select the desired pressure level, then press one button to start either the leak detection mode or the coolant filling mode.
